Men's Gymnastics Senior Class of 2008 Photo Gallery
Has the potential to become an All-American on rings and parallel bars...will also provide depth on other events...incredibly driven person according to the coaches.
2007: Key contributor on still rings...notched a new career best on rings (9.450) at the MPSF Championships, helping the Bears take second in that event...earned Academic All-MPSF honors for the second time...led the Bears on rings in Cal's sweep over Air Force with a then-career high of 9.400...one of three Bears to score over a 9.0 on rings at MPSFs.
2006: Competed in every meet of the season, posting high marks in numerous events...second among the Bears on still rings at the Pete Vidmar Invitational (9.350)...posted a 9.050 on the vault at the Oklahoma/Ohio meet...led the Bears with Tyler Block on the parallel bars against Stanford (Feb. 11) with a score of 9.000...named Academic All-MPSF's scholar athletes
2005: Did not compete.
Previous: Competed for Rising Star and Top Flight Gymnastics.
Personal: Psychology major...hopes to attend Cal's Boalt Law School and compete for the Bears next year...recipient of the Golden Bear Achievement Award in 2006 for the highest GPA on the men's gymnastics team...grandfather, Matt Brady, also attended Cal...has four siblings, Kelly (UC Davis), Tyler, Jayden and Casey...parents are Kathleen Brady and Mark Nettesheim...born on Nov. 1, 1986, in Monterey, Calif.
