Below are mini bios for each of Cal's selections to Phil Steele's 2016 Postseason All-Pac-12 Teams.

FIRST-TEAM SELECTIONS
Chad Hansen, WR, 6-2, 205, Jr., 1L, Fillmore, CA (Idaho State/Moorpark HS)
Hansen has now earned first-team All-Pac-12 honors from the Associated Press, ESPN.com and Phil Steele as well as a second-team selection from the league's coaches after posting some of the nation's top receiving numbers over his 10 games and nine starts. He currently ranks second in the country in receiving yards per game (124.9) and third in receptions per game (9.2), while he is also seventh nationally in receptions (92) and 11th in receiving yards (1,249) despite missing two contests due to injury, with both totals tying for third on Cal's all-time single-season list. Hansen leads the Pac-12 in all four categories while he is fourth in the conference and tied for 16th nationally with his 11 touchdown catches. Hansen had seven 100-yard receiving games in 2016 including a career-high 196 against Texas and six contests with 10 or more catches including a career-high-tying 14 in each of the first two games of the campaign vs. Hawai'i in the College Football Sydney Cup and at San Diego State. The 14 catches are tied for third on Cal's all-time single-game list while the 196 receiving yards is seventh. Hansen also earned Cal's Berkeley Breakfast Club Award as the team's Outstanding Player in the Big Game with seven catches for 114 yards and a career-high-tying two touchdowns including a career-long 70-yard scoring reception on Cal's first offensive play of the game. Hansen is also ranked tied for fourth nationally with his 23 receptions of 20+ yards. He is Cal's active career leader in receptions (111), receiving yards (1498) and touchdown catches (12) over 20 career games and nine starts, and he also had one two-point conversion rush as a junior for a total of 74 career points.

THIRD-TEAM SELECTIONS
Matt Anderson, PK, 6-0, 190, Jr., 1L, Danville, CA (San Ramon HS)
Anderson was also an honorable mention All-Pac-12 pick of the league's coaches and a semifinalist for The Lou Groza Place-Kicker Award semifinalist, as well as a second-team Pac-12 All-Academic Team choice and CoSIDA Academic All-District® choice. He connected on a school-record-tying 22 field goals in 26 attempts (.846) and set a Cal modern-era single-season record with his 117 points on the campaign that included 51-of-51 PAT to tie for first nationally in PAT percentage. Anderson also ranks tied for fifth nationally in field goals made, tied for sixth in field goals per game (1.83), tied for 11th in scoring (9.8 ppg) and tied for 14th in total points scored. Anderson tied a single-game school record with five field goals made in the season finale against UCLA and had a career-high 18 points in the regular-season finale against the Bruins that also is the most points ever scored in a game by a Cal kicker.

James Looney, DT, 6-3, 280, Jr., 1L, Lake Worth, FL (Wake Forest/Lake Worth HS)
Looney also earned honorable mention All-Pac-12 recognition from the league's coaches and was named Cal's Most Valuable Player on defense after starting all 12 contests and compiling 54 tackles, 8.0 tackles for loss (-38 yards), 3.5 sacks (-22 yards), two quarterback hurries, one fumble recovery that he returned 25 yards at USC for the team's lone fumble return of the campaign and one forced fumble. He had a career-high nine tackles against Texas, a career-high 2.0 tackles for loss (career-high -17 yards) against Oregon and a career-high-tying 1.0 sacks three times including a career-high -10 yards twice against Oregon and UCLA. He has played in 24 career games at Cal with 23 starts and contributed 89 tackles, 11.0 tackles for loss (-49 yards), 4.5 sacks (-26 yards), one pass breakup, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries that he has returned for 25 yards. His career 11.0 tackles for loss are the most by any current Cal player while his 4.5 sacks are third.

Steven Moore, OL, 6-6, 310, Sr., 3L, Elk Grove, CA (Elk Grove HS)
Moore was also an honorable mention All-Pac-12 selection of the team's coaches who started each of Cal's first 11 games to run his career totals to playing in each of his first 48 games possible with 47 starts before missing the regular-season finale against UCLA due to injury but still picked up the team's
Andy Smith Award for its most Big C playing time. Moore was a key component for an offensive line that has Cal ranked tied for third nationally in fewest fumbles lost (3); fourth in passing offense (358.8 ypg) and fourth-down conversion percentage (23-31, 74.2%), tied for fourth in first downs offense (336) and 11th in total offense (513.2). The Golden Bears are leading the Pac-12 in each of the categories other than a second-place ranking in passing offense. Cal has also allowed the second-fewest sacks in the Pac-12 (16) while its three fumbles lost are the fewest and its 15 total turnovers tied for the second fewest.
