BERKELEY – The first Big Game was played in 1892, beginning a series that is now the nation's sixth-longest active consecutive running series and tied for the seventh-longest all-time between Football Bowl Subdivision teams. The rivalry has also led to many traditions and events that take place during Big Game week leading up to Saturday's game. Below is a list of known activities and public events prior to the 120th Big Game at Stanford Stadium this Saturday, Nov. 18 (5 pm PT). Wheeler Hall, Doe Library, Campanile and Sather Gate will also be lighted in blue and gold nightly (9 pm – 2 am PT) throughout the week beginning on Sunday, November 12.
