BERKELEY - Join Cal lacrosse for the Elite Winter Camp from Dec. 29-31. Directed by head coach Brooke Eubanks, the camp is a great opportunity to advance your skills and take your game to the next level. Assisting Eubanks at the clinic are Golden Bear assistant coaches, Jennifer Porretto and Paige Soenksen.
The clinic, held on the Cal campus at Maxwell Family Field, is open to any and all entrants and limited only by number, age (13-18) and gender. Space is limited.
Designed for emerging and elite high school players looking to showcase their skills to college coaches. This program focuses on advanced skills, position play, team concepts and an overall intense level of competition. Campers also have the opportunity to compete daily in games against each other.
Featured in the camp will be an emphasis on individual skill work such as dodging, shooting, body positioning, defensive footwork, and small sided play such as, double teams, setting picks, offensive movement and marking cutters. There will also be scrimmages and games where campers can implement the skill work they learned throughout the day in a competitive environment.
Participants need to bring a stick, goggles, mouth guard, turfs/sneakers and a water bottle.
