The top rebounder in the Pac-12 this season, Anigwe is averaging 16.6 points and 8.8 rebounds per game this season, while shooting 57.1 percent from the floor. The Phoenix product is averaging 15.5 points per game to start Pac-12 play and posted back-to-back double-doubles to start the conference slate. The 2016 Pac-12 Freshman of the Year and a unanimous Preseason All-Pac-12 selection, Anigwe has shown her expanded range this season, going 4-5 from beyond the arc in Pac-12 play, including a 3-3 performance in the Bears' conference-opening win over USC.
A two-time All-America Honorable mention, Anigwe drew headlines earlier this season when she posted 28 points and 25 rebounds in a road win at Brown University, becoming the first player in Division I basketball in the last three seasons to have 25 points and 25 rebounds in the same game. Anigwe was recognized as the Pac-12 Player of the Week on December 11 after scoring nearly a point per minute in a weekend sweep of San Diego and Pacific.
Anigwe and the Bears will be back in action on Friday night, hosting Washington at 8 p.m. PT at Haas Pavilion. Friday's game against the Huskies will be carried live on Pac-12 Networks.
