BERKELEY — Arizona and California emerged unbeaten atop their respective pools Saturday at the PAC Rugby 7s Championship, setting up Sunday cup semifinals that will pit the Wildcats against UCLA and the Golden Bears against Arizona State in a battle for the conference championship on Witter Rugby Field.
 
Action kicks off 10:05 a.m. Sunday to continue the PAC 7s as Oregon State takes on Stanford followed by USC vs. Utah in the shield semifinals before Arizona and UCLA kick off their cup semi at 10:45. The Bears square off with the Sun Devils at 11:10 in their cup semi (all times Pacific).
 
The two winners of the cup semifinals will meet in the championship final at 12:50 p.m.


 
The Bears took away the best points differential (+96) and try differential (+15) in the eight-team field following Saturday's play. Cal shut out Stanford, 50-0, as Adam Roeske scored four of the team's eight tries, then beat USC, 43-7, on seven tries by five players. Cal then defeated UCLA, 26-19, as Christian Dyer scores three of the Bears' four tries to sweep Pool B.
 
Sunday's championship rounds are broadcasted from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Pac-12 Network nationally as well as Pac-12 Bay Area and Pac-12 Mountain (all times Pacific). All matches will also be available on Pac-12.com and the Pac-12 Now app.
