DAVIS – Senior All-American Dora Antal scored five goals to move into a tie for 13th place on the all-time MPSF scoring list and the No. 3 Cal women's water polo team closed out the regular season with a 15-6 victory over No. 9 UC Davis on Saturday.

Antal, Cal's all-time leading scorer, now has 238 goals in her career. Her effort Saturday moved her past five players on the MPSF all-time list, including Cal head coach Coralie Simmons, a two-time National Player of the Year at UCLA who had 233 career goals.

Freshman Kitty Lynn Joustra added three goals while senior Carla Carrega and freshmen Elli Protopapas each added a pair for the Bears (18-4), who earned the No. 2 seed at next week's MPSF Championships at Spieker Aquatics Complex.

The Aggies trailed only 6-4 early in the third period before Cal got unanswered goals from senior Kindred Paul, Antal, Protopapas and freshman Brigit Mulder to take control.

Junior goalie Madison Tagg made 13 saves for the Bears.

Cal has a bye in the first round of the MPSF Championships and will advance straight to the semifinals next Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
