BERKELEY – Cal senior goalie Madison Tagg has been named the MPSF Player of the Week.

Tagg, a 2018 ACWPC All-American honorable mention, stopped two penalty shots during the No. 4 Bears' 10-9 victory over No. 5 Hawai'I on Sunday. Those were part of a nine-save performance that helped Cal register its third win over a top-5 opponent this season.

It marks the third career weekly honor for Tagg, second as the conference's Player of the Week.

The Bears host No. 6 Michigan on Sunday at Spieker Aquatics Complex. The match begins at 12 p.m.
