BERKELEY – California and Arizona square off Saturday in a PAC Rugby Conference match at 1 p.m. on Witter Rugby Field. A reserve-grade contest will follow the First XV.
The Golden Bears (13-1, 3-0 PAC) enter the weekend after notching a shutout against Utah at Homecoming on March 16. Arizona (5-1, 2-0 PAC) comes into Strawberry Canyon also unbeaten in conference play, with victories over UCLA, 35-24; and ASU, 78-9. Arizona's only loss of the season came in the Wildcats' last outing, a 22-17 defeat at the hands of Bingham Young University on March 2.
The last meeting between Cal and Arizona was on Feb. 17, 2018, in Tucson, where the Bears scored eight tries to beat the Wildcats, 48-17, on William David Sitton Field.

Admission to Witter Rugby Field is $10 each for adults, $5 each for youth ages 10-19 and seniors 65 and older, and $3 each for groups of 10 or more. All Cal students are admitted free, as are all active and veteran military with valid ID.
Following their match with the Wildcats, the Bears host Saint Mary's College on Saturday, March 30, for the final match of the regular season. Cal is projected to host up to two rounds of the national collegiate postseason, starting with the Round of 16 on Saturday, April 13, against an opponent to be determined. Witter Rugby Field will also be a national quarterfinal location for two matches the following weekend on Saturday, April 20.
