BERKELEY – The culmination of the regular season is imminent for California as it prepares for its home finale on Saturday in Haas Pavilion.

The 11th-ranked Golden Bears will test themselves against top-ranked Oklahoma, the reigning national champion, and 18th-ranked UIC. The meet starts at 6 p.m. (PT).

Returning to competition after a week off, the Bears are well-rested and look to continue their upward trajectory. Cal has shown consistent improvement in nearly every meet this season and posted two 400-plus team scores.

Last time out, the Bears downed Washington with a season-high 405.500, highlighted by Aaron Mah's meet titles in the rings (13.800), parallel bars (14.000), high bar (14.250) and shared the floor win (14.700) with season bests in all but the parallel bar and freshman Darren Wong's career performance in the all-around. Wong took the crown with an 82.700 score, after posting career notes on floor (14.550), rings (13.500) and high bar (13.500).

While the Bears will undoubtedly focused on hitting their marks, they will take time to celebrate the four departing seniors with a ceremony before the meet recognizing Mah, Roshan Toopal, Mitchell Awisus and Harrison Plate.

"It's always an incredible feeling to have our seniors compete in their final home meet," said head coach JT Okada. "With the legacy of over 100 years of gymnastics, and the traditions of past generations, this night is always special.

"Going up against Oklahoma and UIC, I'd simply like to give our seniors the sendoff they deserve."

After the home finale, Cal will conclude its regular season at Stanford on March 30.
