BERKELEY – Cal returns to the friendly confines of the Hellman Tennis Complex this week to host the Washington teams and to celebrate its seniors and Golden Bear alumnae. First the No. 14/19 Golden Bears host Washington on Friday at 2:30 p.m. and then they welcome No. 36 Washington State on Saturday at 12 p.m.

Friday's match time was pushed back from its original 1:30 p.m. start to allow officials time to dry the courts after rain earlier in the day.

The Bears are looking to rebound at home after posting 6-1 losses against USC and UCLA in Los Angeles last week (see below). Entering this Friday's match, Cal has a 9-5 overall record and a 3-2 Pac-12 record, while the Huskies are 15-1 (5-0 Pac-12). The Cougars – who play at Stanford on Friday before heading to Berkeley on Saturday – are currently 17-5 (2-3 Pac-12).

Prior to the WSU match – at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday – Cal will honor the memory of alumna Jane Haughney as her former Cal teammates dedicate a Hellman seat in her honor as part of Alumnae Day. The Bears will then laud co-captains Hauger and Smith in a Senior Day ceremony.

Admission is free for regular-season home tennis matches at Hellman. Fans can also follow the action via the Hellman live streams/live scores by clicking here and can keep track of all the Bears' matches by following Cal on Twitter @CalWomensTennis.
