No. 6 Cal Remains Atop The Leaderboard Following Day 5 Of ACC Championships

ATLANTA – The California men's swimming and diving team remains in first place through day five at the McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

The Bears had three athletes advance to the finals. Ryan Erisman and Humberto Najera moved onto the 400 IM finals, while Keaton Jones advanced to the 200 Free finals.

After finishing with the tenth best time in program history in the prelims (3:41.90), Erisman placed second in the 400 IM finals after clocking a 3:38.94 time, which placed him eighth all-time in the record book.

Jones rounded out the day, placing fourth in the 200 Free finals (1:31.60).

The ACC Championships continue tomorrow with day six of competition featuring the 200 butterfly, 100 backstroke, 100 breaststroke, and 400 medley relay. Prelims begin at 6:45 a.m. PT and finals start at 2:47 p.m. PT on ACCNX.
