REDSHIRTED THE 2003-04 SEASON...

AS A JUNIOR IN 2002-03: Won the Mt. SAC Relays in the discus with an NCAA regional and Pac-10 Championship qualifying throw of 183-10...won the discus (173-4) at the Stanford Invite...had his best throw in the shot put (53-1.75) and the hammer (156-05) at the Big Meet...took seventh-place (180-06) in the discus at the Pac-10 Championships.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2001-02: Finished 11th in the discus (166-2) at the Pac-10 Championships...that mark stood as Cal's best of the season...held Cal's second-best season mark in the shot put (50-11), set at the Big Meet...won the discus at the Cal Open with a score of 162-10, and finished third in the hammer (153-1) at the meet...placed second in the discus (156-7) at the UC Davis Quadrangular, Woody Wilson Invitational (165-5) and Cardinal Qualifier (166-2)...finished third in the shot put (50-11.00), discus (164-1) and hammer (145-6) events at the Big Meet.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2000-01: Finished eighth in the discus at the Pac-10 Championships with a PR and Cal team season-best throw of 170-10... placed third in the discus at both the UC Davis Invitational and the Brutus Hamilton Memorial Invite with throws of 167-3 and 166-5, respectively...throw of 161-2 was good for second at the Big Meet.

HIGH SCHOOL: Competed three seasons each in track and field, football and basketball...played in the San Francisco football all-star game.
