2019 Football Gameday: Disability Access and Support

Cal Athletics is committed to supporting guests with disabilities. California Memorial Stadium is fully accessible, and we provide a wide range of services and amenities for guests with special needs.
The stadium is designed with many disabled accessibility services, including: power-assisted doors, elevators, restrooms, concessions, water fountains, ATMs and seating areas. Guests can receive more information by visiting one of our Guest Services Centers. For questions regarding disability ticket information, please contact the Athletic Ticket Office at (800) GO BEARS (462-3277).
 
 

Disability Assistance

Ambassadors are available at the Disability Access golf cart locations (pre-game & post-game only) -  look for staff wearing vests with the Disability Access symbol.
  • In-Game: Our Guest Services team is available to assist with all issues, including, but not limited to: transportation, re-entry, seat relocation, assisted listening devices, etc.
 

Disability Access

A wheelchair accessible switchback ramp is located at the bottom of Gate 2. 
 

Disability Access Elevators

There are two Disability Access elevators from Lisa and Douglas Goldman Plaza to the concourse. Elevator #5 by section CC or Elevator #6 by Gate #5.  
 
NOTE: There is NO ELEVATOR access to ADA bays on the east rim or sections: OO, P, PP, R, RR, S/SS, and UU.

Concourse Disability Access Bays
Sections:  WW/X, A/AA, BB/C, D/DD, EE/F, HH/I, J/JJ, KK/L, M/MM
  • Enter through Gates 1 - 6 
  • Use ADA elevator by Gate 2 or by Gate 5
North Lower Disability Access Bay
  • Enter through Gate 1 or 2 and access through North Tunnel
East Rim Disability Access Bays
Sections:  U, S/SS, RR, R, PP, P, OO
  • Enter through Gates 8, 9 or 10
 

Disability Access Golf Carts

Once at the stadium, golf carts are available for access to the east rim or campus lots.

  • Gridiron Lot (next to Maxwell Family Field) 
  • Gate 2 - Across from Haas School of Business
  • International House Parking Lot
  • Prospect Court 
  • Gate 8 (Student Gate)

Disability Access Shuttles

Leaving 25 minutes after end of game, two shuttles available at the following locations:
  • Haas School of Business
  • Prospect Court
 

Parking and Shuttles/Golf Carts - Getting to the stadium

There is public parking at the following locations and Disability Access shuttle and golf cart service near the following parking facilities:
  • Genetics Garage (Oxford/Berkeley Way) – Shuttle stop is located right outside of the garage
  • Lower Hearst Structure (Hearst/Scenic Ave.) – Shuttle stop is located across the street at Hearst/Euclid and Golf Cart service is located in the same vicinity near North Gate Hall.
 

Closed Captioning Services

For patrons with a hearing impairment, closed captioning will be displayed at the bottom of the video board. All public address announcements and most board content will be captioned.
 

Restrooms

All permanent restrooms are disability accessible.

Restroom facilities are located behind the following sections:
  • ADA: North and South Tunnels
  • Family Restrooms: Sections KK, EE, C
  • Women's Restrooms: Sections A-X, C-D, F, HH, JJ-KK, LL-M
  • Men's Restrooms: AA-BB, DD-EE, I-II, L-LL, W-WW
  • East Rim: 2 executive restroom trailers and portalets
  • Clubs: All club levels have restroom facilities
  • Lactation Rooms are behind Sections X and I on the West Concourse level
