BERKELEY - The future of Cal softball continues to look bright as head coach Diane Ninemire announced the signing of Bradie Fillmore, Jordan Fines and Zoë Marrott to National Letters of Intent on the first day of the early signing period that began Wednesday.
Fines and Marrott are Northern California products and hail from Elk Grove and Lafayette, respectively. Fillmore comes to Berkeley by way of Eagle, Idaho and all three will arrive at Cal with designs on making an impact in several spots on the field.
"This is a very athletic class," Ninemire said. "We always hope that we're bringing in kids that will come in and be superstars from day one but there will be a lot of competition and competition breeds success. They'll be able to contribute to the program in some way."
