FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – Cal captured two more titles on the final night of the Pac-12 Championships Saturday, with Kathleen Baker repeating in the 200-yard backstroke and the Golden Bears closing out the competition with a school-record in the 400 free relay.

Baker set a meet record with the fastest time in the country in the 200 back, touching in 1:48.27. The reigning NCAA champion, she ranks third all-time in the event, and the two ahead of her are both Golden Bears. Elizabeth Pelton owns the American record of 1:47.84, and Missy Franklin went 1:47.91.

Baker also extended Cal run in the 200 back at the Pac-12 meet to six years in a row. Pelton earned the crown in 2013 and '14, Franklin in 2015, current junior Amy Bilquist in 2016 and Baker the past two years.

"I try to let my adrenaline take me the first 100 (yards)," Baker said. "I'm still working on coming home a little stronger and I think it'll help when I get a little more rest coming into NCAAs. I'm super happy – that's a best time. Honestly, I'm out here having fun with my teammates. We had a lot of backstroke Bears in my heat and it was a lot of fun to hang out in the ready room with them."

In addition to Baker, Bilquist placed fourth Saturday in 1:50.23, while Keaton Blovad posted the No. 10 time in school history in took seventh in 1:53.31.

Cal wrapped up the championships with a strong swim in the 400 free relay. Bilquist led off, followed by Katie McLaughlin, Baker and Abbey Weitzeil, who touched the wall in a school-record 3:09.04 for the fastest time in the country so far this season. The victory gave the Bears wins in four of the five relays during the meet.

"Overall, I thought we had a really good, solid meet," head coach Teri McKeever said. "We had people step up in a number of different ways. I'm particularly proud of our relays. We come out of here with the top time of in the country in four of the five relays, along with a couple of school records. We also had a finalist in every event, and every swimmer and diver scored for us during the meet."

Weitzeil set her own school record in the 100 free. Although she placed second to Simone Manuel of Stanford (by 0.20 seconds), Weitzeil touched in 46.63 to nip Franklin's Cal mark of 46.66 from the 2015 season.

Two other Golden Bears were in the 100 free final, with freshman Robin Neumann swimming a PR 48.09 for third place and Valerie Hull coming in fifth in 48.67.

In the 200 breaststroke, Cal had two swimmers move up in the school's all-time top 10 performers' list. Freshman Ali Harrison took sixth in 2:10.56, which puts her fourth in Cal history, while senior Maija Roses was 11th in 2:10.86, good for sixth best.

Senior Noemie Thomas tied her lifetime best in the 200 fly, finishing fifth in 1:53.77. In addition, McLaughlin was eighth and Sarah Darcel claimed the B final in a PR 1:55.26.

In other events, Chenoa Devine was seventh in the 1650 free in 16:16.20, and Phoebe LaMay paced Cal's divers on platform with a 12th-place showing.

Overall, Cal finished second in the team standings with 1,487 points. Stanford captured the title with 1,776.5 points, while Arizona State was third (996 points) and USC fourth (948.5).
