BERKELEY – Jade Blevins, an accomplished prep setter from Laguna Beach, Calif., has signed a financial aid agreement to attend Cal.

Blevins, 5-10, was an Under Armour All-American at Sage Hill High School who led her team to the CIF championship and two other runner-up finishes.

"We are excited to have Jade join the Cal volleyball program," Cal interim head coach Jennifer Dorr said. "She runs a fast effective offense and has the all-around skills to compete for a starting position right away. She will help make our program better with her character and work ethic both on the court and in the classroom."

Blevins was an All-CIF performer at Sage Hill and a four-time All-Academy League selection, including  earning league MVP honors as a senior. She led the Lightning to four consecutive Academy League championships.

Blevins also has spent time in the USA High Performance program. She will enroll in the fall and be eligible to play in 2018.
