BERKELEY – Tickets are now on sale for the 2018 MPSF Women's Water Polo Championships, hosted by Cal at Spieker Aquatics Complex on April 27-29.

Tickets can be purchased by visiting CalBears.com, calling 1-800-GOBEARS or at the gate. All-session passes or single-day passes are available.

All six teams from the MPSF will participate in the tournament. The MPSF is widely considered the top conference in the country for women's water polo. The top four teams in the current CWPA Top-25 are all from the MPSF (Stanford, USC, Cal, UCLA) while Arizona State is No. 6 and San Jose State is No. 21. Every NCAA champion ever has come from the MPSF.

The tournament begins Friday, April 27 with two first-round games. The semifinals and the consolation game take place Saturday with the championship game and third place game scheduled for Sunday.

The Bears (17-4, 4-1 MPSF) have already locked up the second seed in the tournament and will have a bye in the first round on Friday. Cal's first game in the tournament will take place Saturday, April 28 against the winner of one of the first-round matchups.

Spieker Aquatics Complex underwent a series of upgrades last summer, with the entire pool being replastered and new bleachers installed on both the upper and lower levels. A new scoreboard was also added, and all games are now played directly in front of the new stands at the south end of the complex.
