TEAM NOTES
California improves to 9-2 in non-conference home games under Cuonzo Martin.
California improves to 11-1 in the all-time series against UC Santa Barbara. The Bears won the first 10 matchups between the two teams before the Gauchos claimed a win in the last meeting, a 72-65 victory in Santa Barbara on Dec. 6, 2013.
The Bears went 29-of-38 from the free throw line, the most free throws that the Cal has made since the Bears knocked down 30 (of 42 attempts) from the charity stripe against Arizona on Feb. 5, 2011.
California held UC Santa Barbara scoreless for the first 5:25 of the game with the Gauchos going 0-of-7 from the field until making their first basket with a layup by Ami Lakoju.
Leading 38-28 with 2:44 to go in the first half, California closed out the opening period on a 9-0 run, led by five free throws from Tyrone Wallace, to go into halftime with a 47-28 lead.
All five starters hit double figures scoring for the second consecutive game, led by Tyrone Wallace's 24 points. Wallace has led the Bears in scoring in there consecutive games, dating back to last season's Pac-12 Tournament quarterfinal game against Arizona on March 12, 2015.

PLAYER NOTES
Jordan Mathews hit the first two field goals of the game for either team, knocking down back-to-back 3-pointers. Mathews scored 9 of Cal's first 13 points in the game.
After hitting three 3-pointers tonight, Jordan Mathews needs 22 more to crack Cal's career top-10 list.
Ivan Rabb continues his collegiate career perfect from the charity stripe after going 10-of-10 Monday night. Rabb is now a perfect 12-of-12 on the year in free throws.
Tyrone Wallace was 11-of-13 from the free throw line Monday, moving the senior to 1-of-2 on the year.
Tyrone Wallace had his 15th consecutive game in double figures scoring. Wallace finished the night with 24 points.
Jaylen Brown pulled down a career-best seven rebounds while also scoring 17 points.
Kameron Rooks matched his career-high with two blocked shots.
Nick Kerr made his Golden Bear debut in the game.
