California-San Diego State Postgame Notes

With today's 35-7 California win, the Golden Bears have improved to 4-3 in the all-time series. The home team has won every meeting in the series.  The last time Cal allowed an opponent to score fewer than 10 points was against Oregon State (6) in 2011.

Jared Goff completed 17-of-24 passes for 321 yards, three touchdowns and an interception. He garnered his 17th career multi-passing touchdown performance, and his 12th game of notching at least three touchdown passes. Goff's 59 career passing touchdowns are second in school history. Kyle Boller is first with 64. Now with 8,111 career passing yards, Goff is just 15 yards away from passing Troy Taylor (8,126) for the school record. He also notched his 14th 300-yard passing performance and his 19th 250-yard passing performance, both school records. In the first two games, Goff has completed 41 of his 56 attempts, good for a completion percentage of .732.

The Bears had 12 INTs all of last season and five in 2013. The last time Cal had multiple interceptions in back-to-back games was in 2012 - Oct. 6 (UCLA, 4) and Oct. 13 (Washington State, 2).
