BERKELEY – The No. 3 California women's gymnastics team wrapped up the regular season on Sunday afternoon, picking up another couple of victories and completing a perfect home slate in the process.

The Golden Bears (18-3) registered wins over No. 25 Stanford and Sacramento State with a team score of 197.925, bettering the Cardinal's mark of197.675. The Hornets placed third at 195.400.

Cal finished off its home regular season with a record of 7-0.

The Bears were especially strong on the uneven bars, with senior Gabby Perea and sophomore eMjae Frazier performing at near-perfection with 9.975. Each received a 10 from one of the judges. Cal totaled 49.600 as a team on bars, its fourth-best mark in the event this season.

Cal began the meet strongly, tying for second on the program's all-time list on vault with a team score of 49.500. Sophomore Jayden Silvers had a career-high 9.925 – the first time she's reached at least 9.900 in her career. Frazier and junior Mya Lauzon also recorded a 9.925.

Freshman Kyen Mayhew led the Bears' effort on floor exercise with a 9.925. She's reached at least a 9.9 on floor in every meet she's competed in this season except one.

Frazier, the three-time defending Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week, placed second in the all-around with a 39.600 after tying Lauzon for the all-around title during Friday's tri-meet with San Jose State and UC Davis.

Sunday marked the final regular season home meet for Perea and fellow seniors Andi Li and Elise Byun, along with student assistant coach Kennedy Quay, a former student-athlete on the team. The quartet was honored in a special ceremony after the meet.

While Cal completed its regular season home schedule Sunday, it will return to Haas Pavilion during the first week of April to host the NCAA Regionals.

The Bears will now turn their attention to the 2024 Pac-12 Championships on Saturday at the Maverik Center in West Valley City, Utah. Cal captured its first-ever outright regular season conference championship last weekend and will look to win the first Pac-12 Championships meet in program history as well.
