5 IN A ROW - Cal's current five-game win streak – with all victories coming on the road - started March 18 at Saint Mary's before continuing with a three-game sweep at No. 14 Stanford (March 21-23) and a victory at San Francisco (March 24). RECENT WIN STREAKS - Even though Cal's current five-game win streak is the Golden Bears' longest of 2025. the club is no stranger to long win streaks with four stretches of five or more straight victories in 2024, including a season-long nine-game win streak from April 10-23. The current five straight wins on the road are also the most since April 10-23 when Cal won its first four and final game of its nine-game win streak on the road.

FRENCH ALSO MAKES HISTORY - Jacob French became the first Cal baseball player to win ACC Player of the Week honors last week after hitting .647 (11-17) with nine runs scored, two doubles, three triples, five RBI, one hit by pitch and one sacrifice fly during Cal's four wins. French reached safely in all nine of his plate appearances in the first two games of the Stanford series (8-8, HBP) with a career-high-tying four hits in each contest.
