The Lead: After a win and a loss at Tobacco Road last weekend, the California men's tennis team will host No. 3 Virginia and Virginia Tech to open their 2026 ACC home campaign.

• Tiago Silva and Timofey Stepanov enter the week ranked No. 70 in doubles.
• Through 14 matches, the Bears have only dropped the doubles point twice.
• Cal will play a Top-3 team at home for the first time since No. 3 USC in 2020.
• Cal faced Virginia twice last season with both teams winning one match each
• Cal faced Virginia Tech once last season, defeating the Hokies 7-0.
• The Bears are 4-4 at home this season.
• With a 4-0 record, freshman Winston Lee remains the only Bear with an undefeated singles record in dual matches this season.
• Sophomore Paris Pouatcha only dropped one set since January 16th and is riding a seven-match win streak, including a five-match singles win streak.
• Junior Alex Aney is on a five-match doubles win streak with his last loss on February 1st.
• With a 6-7(4), 6-1, 7-5 singles win against North Carolina, sophomore Fryderyk Lechno-Wasiutynski recorded his 30th collegiate singles win.
• With a 6-2 doubles win against North Carolina, Lechno-Wasiutynski also recorded his 50th collegiate win.
