On slow start:
"I thought Stanford came out great and focused. They knocked down some shots early and got great inside play. I did think our post play improved in the second half though."

"Chris Hernandez got away from us. It was huge for them to get off to a big start and make us play catch-up."

On second-half play:
"In the second half, the things we did were things that have led us to success this season, namely getting the ball down low and getting to the free throw line. We did that today but not nearly enough."

On not being able to close the gap in the second half:
"When we started to make a run, we gave up some threes and a lot of loose balls."
