On not having guard Richard Midgley:
Richard insisted and he wanted to go. When your leader wants that you have to respect it. He couldn't get through the shoot-around. We hoped he could loosen up. He took some anti-inflamitories and such and just couldn't go.

General game statement:
The guys played hard tonight. It's hurt us not to have a guy like Richard down the stretch because he'll make some big plays. But I'm proud of our guys tonight. We went on that run to end the first half and I told the guys to dig in. They made some big shots.

On playing Arizona State's Ike Diogu:
He was our priority and I thought the guys did a good job containing him. I thought our post guys did a good job.
