General Statement:
I was very proud of my team tonight. Kelly Anderson threw an outstanding game, we were really hot with the bats tonight and we ran the bases well. We played like a championship team and I think we did a great job.

On playing away from home:
I think it's critical to attack no matter where you're playing, whether at home or on the road.

On playing away from home:
I just think it is imperative to come out and go, especially when you have a lot of fans like this cheering against you. Just come out there and attack and play like you know how.

California right fielder Alex Sutton
On Cal's team mentality:
No matter what the score is, what the other team is doing, what we're doing, we play the ball game like we're down by two.

Baylor head coach Glenn Moore
On Baylor's play:
Some days, everything that can go wrong goes wrong and you have bad days, and that's why the powers that be developed a best two out of three format. We are disappointed, but I can guarantee you that we are going to come back fighting tomorrow.

On defensive errors:
We have to play better defense against a team of that caliber.

On overcoming an early deficit:
We have come back from a deficit like that before, especially last week, so I don't think there was ever a doubt in any of our minds that we would score.
