"Stanford played awfully tough and we have to give them credit. They ran the glass in the first half."

"We're two of the better defensive teams in this league. We got off to a good start in the second half. You don't want to be operating from behind against Stanford, and we did a good job getting out ahead early in the second half and made Stanford scrap their way back into it."

"I thought we did a very effective job on Chris Hernandez in the second half. I thought Chris Hernandez had to work very hard tonight. We made him play both ends of the floor and I think he was a little bit more tired than normal because of it."
