California head coach Ben Braun
"I thought we had things going the way we wanted in the first half. We were executing well. That was one of the better halves we've had."

"It's frustrating, obviously, to put those kinds of numbers on the board. Those stats are usually enough to beat most teams and it was not tonight. Give Oregon credit. They came out with an explosive second half. They hit some tough shots."

On Oregon's job of defending Ryan Anderson in the second half:
"Oregon did a good job. They locked down pretty well inside. We probably got a little too perimeter-oriented in the second half. As you can see, we're pretty good when we get to the foul line."

"We let up in the second half on transition defense. We didn't get back and stop the transition as well as we have to and Oregon took advantage of that."

"Give Oregon credit. They made some big, big shots tonight."

"They're (Oregon players) veterans now. I love our guys, but they're young still. These guys (Oregon players) have been through this league, and it makes a difference."
