Cal improved its home record to 9-1 this year with its 92-82 win over USC.
USC entered the game allowing just 59.0 ppg, and Cal's 92 points represents the second-most points the Trojans have given up this season.
Eric Vierneisel scored a career-high 15 points. His previous best was 13 at Oregon State on Jan. 18, 2007.
Cal dished out 23 assists as a team, with both Jerome Randle (9) and Patrick Christopher (7) setting career bests.
By shooting 11-for-25 from three-point range, Cal has now made at least 10 three-pointers in three straight games. Prior to the stretch, the Bears had not made 10 threes in any game this year.
Cal had at least five players score in double figures for the fourth time this season: Patrick Christopher (24), Ryan Anderson (15), DeVon Hardin (15), Jerome Randle (16) and Eric Vierneisel (15).
Cal defeated a ranked opponent at home (USC is No. 22 in the AP poll) for the first time since a 63-61 win over then-No. 15 Oregon on Feb. 15, 2007.
