Cal's win over Oregon this afternoon not only stops the brief two-game losing skid, but it also snapped a three-game losing streak against the Ducks.
The Bears shot 66.7 percent on the day, which is the highest percentage in any Pac-10 contest this season. Cal also owns the highest shooting percentage in any game among Pac-10 teams this year when it finished at 67.9 vs. Texas-Pan American on Nov. 20. The school record is 68.5.
Jamal Boykin was one rebound shy of a double-double, finishing with 13 points and a game-high nine rebounds. It was the 10th time this season that he has led the Bears on the boards. Boykin has now tallied double figures in the last three games.
Jerome Randle tallied his 11th 20-point outing of the season, the team's 18th, with his 22 points on the day. Randle also added five assists, and is now 10th all-time in career assists in school history with 313. Rickey Hawthorne (1973-76) is ninth with 318. Randle, the school's all-time top free-throw shooter, was a perfect 6-for-6 from the charity stripe.
The Bears led for the entire game after scoring the game's first basket at 19:09 in the first half.
Patrick Christopher collected a career-best three steals, and also added 13 points and three assists.
Theo Robertson was the fourth Bear to reach double figures, securing 11 points, five rebounds and a game-high six assists.
