Patrick Christopher set a career high with 29 points, breaking his previous mark of 27 set in the triple overtime win at Washington earlier this season.

Cal improved to 8-4 in overtime games vs. USC. The Bears have played more OT games vs. the Trojans than any other opponent.

Cal is 2-0 in overtime games this season and has won seven of its last nine OT games dating back to the 2005-06 season.

Cal shot 54.2% from the floor, the 14th time this season the Bears have made more than half their shots. It also came one game after Cal shot a season-low 32.7% at Oregon State last Saturday.

Patrick Christopher (7-for-7), Jerome Randle (6-for-6) and Theo Robertson (4-for-4) were all perfect from the free throw line, contributing to Cal's overall 24-for-27 effort at the stripe (88.9%).

Cal is now 16-1 at home before hosting UCLA in the Bears' final home game Saturday at 6 p.m. The 16 wins is the most at Haas Pavilion since Cal went 17-1 in 2001-02 and a significant improvement over the last two years when the Bears combined to go 19-15 in Berkeley.
