Jerome Randle and Patrick Christopher became California's 37th and 38th players in school history to collect 1,000 points. Randle finished tonight's contest with 21 points, his 12th 20-point outing of the season. Ryan Anderson was the last Golden Bear to earn the 1,000-point milestone. Randle currently stands at 1,004 career points, while Christopher is at an even 1,000.
Cal has now won its last three games against Washington. The last time the Bears beat the Huskies twice in the same year was in 2003.
Like Randle, Theo Robertson collected 21 points on the night and went 2-for-5 from the three-point line.
Jordan Wilkes had another strong game on Thursday, posting 14 points against the Huskies. In his last three games, Wilkes has scored 38 points. His eight rebounds were also a team best. It was the sixth time this season that Wilkes has led the Bears on the boards.
Randle, Cal's all-time leading free-throw shooter was a perfect 4-for-4 from the line and is shooting 87.8 from the charity stripe this season.
After shooting 39.4 percent from the field in the first half, Cal came out strong after halftime and shot 64.7 percent in the second half, finishing with an average of 52.2 for the game. On the defensive end, the Bears held the Huskies to 36.1 percent on the night, which was the seventh time Cal has held an opponent to shooting under 40.0 percent this season.
Jamal Boykin was the fourth Bear to reach double figures, recording 13 points on the night. He also added seven rebounds, and now has 151 boards on the season. Boykin also tallied a career-best three blocks.
