D.J. Holt finished with a career-high 16 tackles (6 solo, 10 assists), the most for a Cal defender since Thomas DeCoud also had 16 stops at Washington on Nov. 17, 2007.

Cal generated 502 yards of total offense, the second time the Bears have had at least 500 this season. Cal ran up 517 yards vs. UC Davis in the season opener.

Shane Vereen rushed for a career-high 198 yards on 19 carries, an average of 10.4 yards per attempt. He also scored three times on runs of 59, 1 and 50 yards. For the year, he already has eight total TDs (6 rushing, 2 receiving) and is averaging 108.0 yards per game.

Cal converted 7-of-11 third-down tries.

Marvin Jones finished with career highs of 12 receptions and 161 yards. The yardage total was the most by a Bear receiver since Lavelle Hawkins had 192 yards vs. Oregon State on Oct. 13, 2007, while his total catches tied for seventh most in a game in school history and was most by a Cal player since Geoff McArthur hauled in a school-record 16 passes at Stanford on Nov. 22, 2003.

Shane Vereen extended his streak to 29 consecutive games with at least one catch.

Cal scored at least 30 points for the 58th time under head coach Jeff Tedford but saw its streak on winning games when scoring at least 30 end at 30 in a row. The Bears are now 53-5 when putting 30 points on the scoreboard under Tedford.
