Fall 2005: Finished the fall with an 8-3 singles record...won the singles main draw at the ASU Invitational (11/7), defeating Rebecca Rankin of ASU (6-1, 6-2) in the finals...notched two victories at the Cal Invitational (10/2)...advanced to the round of 32 at the ITA Regional Qualifier...went 4-3 in doubles action...defeated White/Quintal of New Mexico, 8-2, in the quarterfinals of the Cal Invitational to advance to the semifinals with partner Cristina Visico...tallied two victories at the ITA Regional Qualifier.
2004-05: Recorded a pair of wins in Cal's NCAA Regional matches...advanced to the quarterfinals of the Pac-10 Individual Championships back draw...clinched Cal's win over Purdue (3/16) with a win on court five...opened the spring with an eight-match win streak (1/15-2/25)...finished the fall with a 5-3 singles record...notched two victories at the Nike Cal Invitational, defeating Zsofia Fodor of Washington State in three sets (3-6; 6-4; 6-2) and teammate Tiffany Lee (6-3; 7-5)...convincingly defeated USF's Michelle Duncan, 6-1; 6-0, to advance to the Round of 64 at the ITA Northwest Championships...went 3-2 in doubles action...reached the Round of 32 at the ITA Northwest Regional Championships with partner Tiffany Lee...advanced to the semifinals of the Thunderbird Invitational, defeating Leanne Rutherford and Debra Streifler of Michigan (8-3) and Vana Tomas and Jessic Leitch of Arizona State (8-6)
2003-04: Finished the 2004 season with a 16-9 overall singles record, going 7-4 in dual matches...advanced to the semifinals of the Pac-10 Indoors by beating Washinton's Stephanie Svanfeldt, 7-5; 6-4, and Kelly Duncan of Arizona, 6-0; 6-3.went 9-10 on the year in doubles, finishing with a 6-6 dual meet record...partnered with Catherine Lynch, the duo advanced to the quarterfinals of the Pac-10 Indoors.had an impressive four-match dual meet win streak, all won from the third position...continued to progress as a player going 4-3 in fall tournament play...competed in three tournaments, winning at least one match in each...set the tone for the season by taking her first match (6-0; 6-0) over Yasmin Kashef of Sacramento State...Shu also picked up an encouraging victory against conference foe Chris Martinez of Washington State (6-1; 3-6; 6-4).went 3-2 in double action in the fall winning matches at the Bulldog tournament as well as the St. Mary's Invitational.
2002-03: Competed in five matches in the spring winning three of them.defeated three conference opponents (Stephanie Svanfeldt of Washington (3-6; 6-2; 6-3), Kate Jolson (6-4; 6-2) UCLA and Paulie Fabian of ASU (6-1; 6-2).finished the entire 2002-03 schedule with an 11-6 overall record...competed in three fall tournaments, amassing an 8-4 singles record.won her first ever collegiate singles match at Bulldog Classic in Fresno, defeating Loyola Marymount's Penka Fileva, 6-4; 6-4, in second round of back draw...reached the finals of consolation bracket, dropping Vlataka Jovanovic of Fresno State...as the fifth-seed, advanced to Round of 16 at Saint Mary's Invitational...also competed at Omni Hotels Regional Championships, reaching the fourth round of the consolation singles bracket with victory over Casey Knutson of Santa Clara, 6-2; 6-4.in doubles, teamed with Catherine Lynch at Regionals, dropping 4-8 decision in Round of 16 to the duo of Carlotti and Jantz of Fresno State.
