As a Sophomore in 1999-00: Forehan-Kelly became a key contributor to Cal's success, starting at the midway point of the season … averaged just 7.2 minutes and scored a total of 12 points through Cal's first 15 games … had a breakout game at Oregon State Jan. 15 when he tallied a team-best 17 points (6-7 FG, 4-5 3P, 1-2 FT) and added four rebounds, two assists and two steals in Corvallis … that performance earned him a place in the starting lineup the next four games … after starting two more games at Washington and Washington State in late February, started the final five games of the year … had 11 points and 6 boards at Arizona State and a career-best 20 points (7-9 FG, 6-8 3P) and 7 rebounds at Arizona ... the 6 three-pointers just missed the school record of seven held by Jason Kidd (1994) and Ryan Drew (1990) … after Jan. 15, averaged 6.0 ppg and 21.4 minutes … suffered a mild shoulder sprain late in Cal's home game against Oregon State and sat out the Feb. 12 Oregon contest … in Cal's home game against USC March 4, made a key four-point play (three-pointer plus foul shot) when the Bears were leading just 67-66 late in the contest … shot an even 50 percent from the floor and a team-high 45.3 percent from three-point range (24-53) … the three-point percentage ranks third on Cal's season chart and was the best for any Cal player since Bill Elleby made 46.4 percent of his long-range attempts in 1992 … was even more accurate in Pac-10 games, making 55.2 percent from the floor and 51.4 percent from three-point land (19-37).
As a Freshman in 1998-99: Saw action in 10 games during the year … his biggest moment came in Cal's 78-73 win over Arizona State Feb. 27 when he came off the bench and sank two free throws with just 22.7 seconds left and the Bears clinging to a 70-68 lead … played one minute in Cal's NIT semifinal victory over Oregon.
High School: Forehan-Kelly earned first team all-league honors as a senior at Santa Margarita HS … helped team to the Division II state title in 1998 … also won the team's Interscholastic Award … as a junior, voted second team all-league … played both football and baseball his freshman year.
