AS A JUNIOR IN 2001-02: Ran a PR of 63.6 at the Woody Wilson Invitational, taking first overall at the meet.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2000-01: Posted Cal's fifth-best time in the 400mH (64.09) at the Woody Wilson Invitational.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 1999-2000: Battled injuries most of the year...best time of the season was a 64.6 in the 400mH.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 1999 graduate of James Logan High School...member of school's national and CIF championships teams...recorded PRs of 15.1 (100mH) and 44.6 (300mH)...also participated in cross country and soccer.
PERSONAL: Brooke Ashley Baires-Irvin was born Aug. 20, 1981 in Hayward, CA...mother is Regina Irwin...political science major and will attend law school next year.
