SAC MVP and the team's Player of the Week five times in the 10-game season ... had a pair of monster games with an 18-tackle performance vs. Long Beach CC and a 21-tackle outing vs. El Camino CC ... a unanimous first team Mission Conference selection ... comes from a winning background as he was on Mt. SAC's national championship team in 1997 that went 12-0 ... was also on an undefeated Eisenhower HS team that was rated No. 1 in the nation in 1995 ... earned first team Citrus Belt League honors both as a junior and senior in high school ... sat out the '96 season ... an accomplished singer who toured with a R & B band in the spring of '98 that was signed by Warner Brothers ... was convinced to return to the football field and delivered a big season to earn a scholarship ... turned down offers from Colorado, Washington, Kansas State and Oregon to come to Cal ... uncle, Theo Adams, played pro football with the St. Louis Rams and the San Francisco 49ers ... lists cooking and golf among his hobbies ... mother is April Crawford Ball ... born Dec. 27, 1977 in Torrance, CA.
