AS A JUNIOR (2004): Started all but one game...made the MPSF All-Tournament Team, MPSF All-Academic Team and IWLCA Honor Roll...scored a goal and an assist in the 17-10 win over UC Davis on April 24...attended summer school at Cal between her junior and senior seasons...played in the Bay Area Summer League and Lake Tahoe Lacrosse Tournament.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2003): Started every game a year ago taking 17 shots...scored a goal in three straight games early in the season ending with 4 goals and three assists on the year.
AS A FRESHMAN (2002): Only freshman on team to start consistently, playing in all 18 games while notching two goals and two assists...tallied both goals in 10-7 victory over Holy Cross (4/19)...National Society of Collegiate Scholar, Alumni Scholar and National Dean's List member.
HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL: At The Thacher School led team to three consecutive Condor League Championship titles (1999-2001) and two straight California state championships (1999-2000)...as a sophomore, team was Division III Western State Tournament co-champions and San Diego Lacrosse Festival champions...won the National Academy of Physics award in 1999 & AP Distinguished Scholar award in 2001...also played varsity soccer...major is Political Economies of Industrialized Societies (PEIS)...father, Joe, graduated from Cal's business school in 1972 and played Cal club lacrosse...he also played soccer and lacrosse at Swarthmore College...mother, Cynthia Easton, graduated from Cal in 1972 and grandmother, Mary Alice Scott graduated from Cal in 1942...parents are Joe Hafkenschiel & Cynthia Easton...born April 8, 1983, in Sacramento, CA.
