Junior All-American Takes Second on the Platform at the NCAA Zone E Meet

CAL SUCCESS
• Made a big impact as a sophomore, earning All-America honors and scoring vital points for Cal with her fifth-place finish on the platform in the 2012 NCAA Championships.
• She qualified for 2012 NCAAs by taking third place in the platform final at the NCAA Zone E Diving Qualifying Meet, at which she became the first Cal women's diver in 21 years - and just the second overall - to reach the NCAA Championships.
• Rowell capped her first year as a Golden Bear by posting an eighth-place finish - with a score of 449.00 - in the platform final at the 2011 NCAA Zone E Championships.
• She also finished 38th (213.00) in the one-meter prelim and 38th in the three-meter prelim (218.75) at 2011 zones.
• At the 2011 Pac-10 Championships, Rowell produced Cal's top platform result, taking fifth place with a score of 250.10 in the final.
• Also at 2011 Pac-10s, Rowell just missed the three-meter final with a ninth-place prelim finish (289.80) and placed 19th in the one-meter prelim (233.05).
• Posted a score of 217.50 to finish fourth in the platform final at the 2011 Bruin Diving Invitational.
• At the 2011 Trojan Diving Invitational, Rowell notched Cal's best finish in the platform final, taking fourth (232.60), and placed 12th in the three-meter final (208.85).
• At the 2011 USA Diving National Zone D Championships, Rowell placed 15th (215.55) in the three-meter prelim and 30th (183.10) in the one-meter prelim.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB SUCCESS
• Finished sixth on the one-meter springboard at the 2009 CIF-SS Division I finals.
• A Mission Viejo Nadadores alumna.
