Bears Outscore Aztecs, 89-83, With 3-Point Barrage

  • Justice Sueing scored 13 of his season-high 21 points in the first half. He finished the game 6-for-11 from the field, including 4-for-6 from 3-point range. His previous best this year was 19 points vs. St. John's.
  • Grant Anticevich scored a career high 13 points (6-10 FG, 1-4 3P). His previous best was seven points vs. Chaminade on Nov. 22, 2017, and his season best entering the game was four points against Yale – his entire total for the year before tonight.
  • Paris Austin finished with 9 assists, one game after dishing out eight assists. The nine assists match his career high set against Nevada on Feb. 22, 2017, when he played at Boise State. He had 0 turnovers against the Aztecs. As a team, the Bears had a season-high 18 assists.
  • As a team, Cal set a season high with 13 3-pointers, topping the Bears' previous best of eight from the St. John's and Temple games.
  • Over its past four games, Cal is shooting 60-for-73 (82.2%) from the free throw line, including 16-for-18 vs. San Diego State.
  • Cal shot 29-for-55 (52.7%) the fourth time this season the best have been at least 50% from the field.
