Overall thoughts:
"A very difficult, disappointing loss. We came out of the gates and did a good job, and built a comfortable lead. It shifted at the end of the first half. We let them make the run leading into halftime. In the second half, we told our guys the first five minutes was going to be crucial…We knew that they were going to be a tough, physical team. They didn't look like it in the first half until the end of the first half, and in the second half they showed us that they're a more physical, tougher team. They played tougher than we did tonight."
 
On momentum shift from first-half start:
"What changed was Remy Martin started hitting shots. We can't keep the zone as tight, and now we have to go out there and guard him. We have to guard the guy at the top of the key, and it opens up the high post, and then they started hurting us…He played a great game."
 

Sophomore Guard Darius McNeill

 
On strong first-half start:
"We were emphasizing packing in the paint. We were relying on Remy (Martin) to shoot and the other three guards to shoot, because they weren't shooting really well in conference play so far. We were going to make them shoot and get long rebounds."
 
On difference in second half:
"Remy got going, and the other guards got going from 3. Instead of going under screens, we had to go over them and that caused problems."
 
 

Freshman Guard Matt Bradley

 
On difference between first and second half:
"The first half, we played both ends really well. In the second half, we went on a drought for a couple of minutes without scoring. We were defending really well, and once we started scoring, they started scoring as well, got into the double bonus and really hurt us."
On difference in second half:
"They spread us out in the second half. They weren't really scoring like that in the first half. In the second half, they started knocking down shots. Once they spread us out, they got the bigs going down low. They played a lot harder and a lot more aggressively."
