Friday's Match Against ASU Moved To Maples Pavilion

The No. 16 Bears And Sun Devils Will Play At Stanford Due To Power Outages In Berkeley.

BERKELEY - Due to a regional power shutoff that is impacting the Bay Area and the University of California, Berkeley campus, Friday's volleyball match between No. 16 Cal and Arizona State will be played at 5 p.m. at Stanford's Maples Pavilion and will be televised on Pac-12 Bay Area and Pac-12 Arizona. The match had originally been scheduled for Friday at Haas Pavilion in Berkeley.

Admission to the match at Maples will be free for all fans, and tickets previously purchased to the match in Berkeley can be exchanged for a ticket to another Cal match of equal or lesser value. Fans should call (800) GO BEARS (462-3277) and press option 3 with any ticketing questions.

Stanford's volleyball match vs. Arizona Friday will be played as scheduled in Maples Pavilion, starting at 8 p.m. If Cal fans plan to stay for the Stanford match, they will need to exit Maples Pavilion and purchase a ticket.

Parking for fans will be free after 2 p.m. in either the Maples Pavilion Lot or in the Varsity Parking Lot off Nelson Road (near Sunken Diamond). Entrance to Maples will be available only at the main entry gate on the northwest side of the building adjacent to the ticket office.

A decision on the time and location for the Cal-Arizona match, currently scheduled to start at noon Sunday in Haas Pavilion, is expected to be made Friday once more information is known regarding power to the Cal campus.
