BERKELEY - Last week in the University Club at California Memorial Stadium, Cal student-athletes were afforded the opportunity to connect with current professionals from an array of expertise. Many of the professionals were former student-athletes themselves, including many who were former Golden Bears.

Put on for the second straight year by the Student-Athlete Business Network (SABN), Cal Student-Athlete Development and the Cal Athletics Fund's Alumni Relations, featured speakers included former Cal track athlete Sebastian Sam, former Cal football athlete Dasarte Yarnway and former Cal volleyball athlete Laura Leap. Much of the evening included open networking where current Cal student-athletes could mingle and connect with the different professionals on hand.
