Bears Shoot A Season-High 59% From The Floor

  • With the 72-66 victory, Cal improved to 5-0 in Haas Pavilion and has won seven straight home games dating back to last year.
  • Grant Anticevich recorded his first career double-double, finishing with 13 points and a career-high 11 rebounds.
  • Matt Bradley (4-5 FG, 3-4 3P) and Kareem South (5-5 FG, 1-1 3P)) combined to make 9-of-10 shots in the first half, good for 11 points each.
  • As a team, the Bears were 15-for-23 from the field in the first half (65.2%) and finished the game shooting 58.7% (27-46) – a season high and the fourth time this season they've been above 50%.
  • Defensively, Cal limited UC Davis to 37.7% from the floor – the fifth straight time an opponent has been held under 42% (and the sixth time in seven game this season).
  • Bradley finished with 19 points, the sixth time in seven games this season he has reached double figures.
  • In addition to his 14 total points, Kareem South dished out 4 assists and grabbed 5 rebounds, both highs as a Golden Bear.
  • Cal outrebounded UC Davis, 37-25, its largest margin of the season (previous: +11 vs. California Baptist)
  • Lars Thiemann grabbed a career-best 5 rebounds.
