  • This is Cal's second lineup combination of the season. The Bears played all seven prior games with the lineup of Joel Brown, Kareem South, Matt Bradley, Grant Anticevich and Lars Thiemann.
  • South poured in a season-high 20 points for his fifth game in double figures this season. His previous high was 14 points, set thrice this season (last vs. UC Davis on Nov  26).
  • It was South's first 20-point game of the season, and the fifth by a Golden Bear this year (Bradley – 3, Anticevich – 1).
  • Bradley scored 11 points, his seventh game in double figures this season.
  • Cal's 7 steals marked a new season high, topping the previous best of 5 against UNLV on Nov. 12.
  • Paris Austin's 3 steals are the most by a Bear this season.
  • Austin also pulled down a season-high 6 rebounds.
  • Cal finished with 33 rebounds, one shy of the team's season-high total.
  • USF built a 15-point lead in the first half before Cal held the Dons scoreless for nearly six minutes. With the score 25-10 at 8:40, Cal used a 22-9 run to make it a 2-point game at halftime, 34-32 USF.
