Bears Battle Ducks Tough For 40 Minutes

  • Matt Bradley paced the Bears with a career-high 27 points. His previous best was 26 points vs. Washington State earlier this month. Bradley has reached double digits in all but one game this season and has a streak of 15 games in a row. It was his seventh 20-point outing of the year
  • Lars Thiemann tied his career high with eight points, all in the first half, by shooting 4-for-4 from the field. He scored eight points twice previously, most recently vs. Boston College on Dec. 21.
  • Grant Anticevich, who had scored a total of 6 points in Cal's previous three games, finished with 10 (3-5 FG, 2-3 3P, 2-2 FT) and added 5 rebounds.
  • Kareem South reached double figures in scoring for the third time in his last four games, ending the night with 13 points.
  • Cal shot 9-of-18 from 3-point range (50.0%), the Bears' highest percentage from behind the arc since going 5-for-10 (50%) vs. Saint Mary's on Dec. 14. Cal entered the game shooting 25.3% from long distance in Pac-12 games (25-99).
  • Down 40-34 early in the second half, Cal responded with a 14-2 run to take a 48-42 lead. Kareem South scored the first eight points for the Bears.
  • Cal's 13 assists were its third highest total of the year (14 vs. Washington; 15 vs. California Baptist).
