Bears Open Play At Stanford Intercollegiate

Cal Shoots 10-Over In First Round, Stands In 16th Place

STANFORD – The Cal women's golf team shot 10-over par and is in 16th place after the first round of the Stanford Intercollegiate at Stanford Golf Course.

Junior Cristina Ochoa was the Bears' top finisher after the first 18 holes at 1-over par. Junior Mika Jin and sophomore Jieming Yang are both at 2-over par.

There are 19 teams in the field, including eight ranked in the top-25.

The Bears tee off for the second round Saturday at Noon.
