No. 4 Bears Put Away No. 15 Indiana, 15-5
Wright Registers Second Straight Six-Point Outing
BLOOMINGTON, IN –
Emma Wright had her second consecutive six-point game to lead the No. 4 Cal women's water polo team to a 15-5 rout of No. 15 Indiana on Monday afternoon at Counsilman-Billingsley Aquatics Center.
Wright, a three-time All-American and 2020 Olympian for Canada, registered three goals and three assists as the Bears (14-2, 3-2 MPSF) improved to 18-1 all-time against the Hoosiers. Wright had two goals and four assists during Cal's 15-7 win at No. 9 Arizona State on Friday. She ranks eighth in the MPSF at 3.5 points per game.

Cecily Turner also had three goals for the Bears while freshman
Rozanne Voorvelt recorded five field blocks. Junior goalie
Isabel Williams had eight saves in three quarters of action.
Cal had the game in hand early, scoring on each of its first two possessions and racing out to an 8-1 lead with 3:22 left in the first half. After Indiana cut it to 8-3 at halftime, the Bears outscored the Hoosiers 4-0 in the third quarter to put things away.
Seniors
Kitty Lynn Joustra and
Elli Protopapas each added two goals for the Bears.
Cal completes its three-game road trip Friday at No. 7 Michigan.
