Cal To Host ‘Late Night At Haas’
Basketball Programs, Women’s Gymnastics On Display At Preseason Rally Event
BERKELEY – Cal Athletics will host "Late Night At Haas", the new annual event tipping off the Golden Bears' 2023-24 winter sports season, on Oct. 19 at Haas Pavilion at 7 p.m. PT. The rally will feature the first look at this year's Cal men's basketball, women's basketball and women's gymnastics programs.
Admission to the event is free to the public with gates opening at 6 p.m. All attendees must claim a ticket –
which are available now to Cal students via CalBears.com – in advance of the event in order to gain entry to Haas Pavilion. Tickets for the general public will be released next week. Further information regarding entry to the event will be provided to attendees once a ticket is claimed.
In addition to team introductions, "Late Night At Haas" will feature student-athlete competitions, fan and student contests and more. The first 1,000 students in attendance will receive free food from Forge Pizza and Cal's Fried Chicken and Burgers. Bay Area artist StunnaMan02 will perform live at the event – including the debut of his song, "Big Steppin' – The Cal Remix" – with additional appearances from the Cal Dance and Cheerleading teams as well as the Cal Straw Hat Band.
Cal men's and women's basketball begin their 2023-24 campaigns at home with a doubleheader on Monday, Nov. 6, when the men host St. Thomas at 6 p.m. and the women face Cal State Bakersfield at 8:30 p.m. inside of Haas Pavilion. For information about 2023-24 tickets,
