Jared Goff Leads Lions To 31-26 Comeback Home Win Over Chicago

Jared Goff rallied from three interceptions to help Detroit score the game's final 17 points and lead the Lions to a 31-26 comeback victory over Chicago to highlight performances by former Cal football players in Week 11 NFL action. The Lions improved to 8-2 and are currently the NFC's No. 2 playoff seed while holding a two-and-a-half game lead in the NFC North.

Keenan Allen had another big game in Week 11 with 10 receptions for 116 yards and a touchdown. Allen is the NFL's leader in receptions through 11 weeks with 83 and is second with 1,011 yards receiving. Allen had double-digit receptions and was over 100 yards receiving for the second straight game for both.

Goff and Allen are two of 24 former players currently affiliated with NFL teams including 10 on active rosters, eight on coaching staffs, four on injured reserve lists and two on practice squads.

– Recorded his second straight game with double-digit receptions and went over the 1,000-yard mark for receiving in a 23-20 Week 11 loss at Green Bay, finishing the contest with 10 catches for 116 yards and one touchdown
– Became the 54th player in NFL history to surpass 10,000 career receiving yards (also one of six active players) in the fourth quarter of a 27-6 Week 9 road win over the New York Jets and finished with a game-high eight receptions for a team-high 77 yards
– Leads the NFL with 83 receptions while he is second with 1,011 yards receiving and tied for third with seven touchdown catches through Week 11

Bryan Anger – P (Dallas, 7-3, No. 5 NFC Playoff Seed, 2nd NFC East)

– Second in the NFL in net punting average (45.0) and third in yards per punt (50.8) with both career bests

– Tied for 13th in the NFL with a career-high 91 tackles, while adding a career-high-tying two interceptions, a career-high eight pass defenses, his lone career forced fumble, 0.5 sacks (-2 yards), a career-high-tying 2 TFL and a career-high-tying 1 QH
– Named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week when he registered the first two-interception game of his career and was credited for a tackle on another San Francisco turnover among a team-high nine stops in a 22-17 Week 7 home win over a 5-1 49ers' squad
